If, like me, you stayed home for the last 2.5 weeks, and my projection is that you did, all of us have missed the Union Theatre's rare presentation of early Mike Kuchar films, The Craven Sluck and His Fleshapoids on Tues; Andre Ujica's 3 hour documentary curating The Autobiography of Nicolai Ceausescu on Weds in the week of 30 Jan.
We missed nothing (so we mustn't feel bad about not leaving home for the rest of this paragraph), to the knowledge of my limited & outdated events radar, in the week of 6 Feb.
So far this week, that of 13 Feb, we have missed a Swede's retelling of the American Civil Rights Movement in The Black Power Mixtape 1967 - 1975 on Mon; the first program of 2 for the reliably excellent digital shorts of Ann Arbor Film Festival's Tour on Tues; and finally, we missed Sean Kafer presenting his Twain-ian MFA thesis video Valleymaker, a documentary of traveling the Mississippi on his homemade raft, last night, which like all of the events for this week of 13 Feb was shown at the UWM Union Theatre.
If I miss anything else or, heaven forbid, actually see a damn thing in the remaining 4 days, I promise to let you know with in 2.5 weeks.
